CRJMC - Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check

This check is intended for applicants who are seeking employment with agencies who require a criminal record check. 

The CRJMC provides information on an applicant's criminal record, including convictions, outstanding charges, and warrants. It may also include information on judicial matters such as peace bonds and restraining orders.

The agency has determined that a search of pardoned sex offender’s database is NOT required (i.e., border crossing or visa) therefore this check is NOT intended for applicants who are seeking or employment with vulnerable persons.

Here are some of the professions that require a CRJMC check.

2. Attendant in animal shelter/dog walker

3. Bank Teller

4. Factory Worker

5. Food Vendor

6. Hospitality (bars, restaurants, hotels)

7. Laborer/Trades/Maintenance

8. Landlord/Superintendent

9. Landscaper

10. Retail Sales/Bank Teller

11. Security Guard

12. Security guard in parking lot

13. Server in a restaurant

14. Taxi Drivers (I.e. Uber and Lyft drivers) 

15. Tenant for rental property

16. Warehouse worker

Two pieces of identification are mandatory, and must be provided to have a background check processed
